How to Make Spicy Garlic Shrimp Pasta in Under 30 Minutes
- Start by cooking your pasta. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Don’t forget to reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water right before the pasta is finished cooking.
- While the pasta water comes to a boil, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and sauté gently until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes. Be sure to stir frequently so the garlic does not burn. Add in the red pepper flakes and sauté for another minute.
- Next, season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minute on each side until cooked through. Remove the cooked shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- Add in lemon juice, honey, white balsamic vinegar and white wine. Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes until reduced by half, stirring occasionally.
- Finally, add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat the noodles. Add the reserved pasta water and parmesan cheese and cook for 2-3 minutes before adding the shrimp back into the pasta.
- Serve immediately and top with more freshy grated parmesan cheese!
