- Hoisin – Adds the perfect savory element to the dish.
- Honey – Just the right amount of sweetness!
- Chili Garlic Sauce – Adjusts measurements to your preferred spice level.

Putting it All Together
My rich and creamy peanut sauce takes only 10 minutes to make! You wont believe something so easy can taste so good!
- In a small sauce pan, over low heat, combine peanut butter, coconut aminos, hoisin, honey and chili garlic. Mix well and brings to a low simmer.
- Stir in the coconut milk and bring to a low simmer again.
- Add in the cornstarch slurry while consistently stirring. Let simmer until the peanut sauce reaches your desired consistency.
To Serve
I love using this creamy peanut sauce as a dipping sauce for fresh spring rolls or drizzling it over rice bowls, noodle dishes, lettuce wraps, or my Thai Chicken Skewers—it adds the perfect creamy, flavorful kick. It’s seriously versatile and so easy to love. You’re going to be hooked!
Recipe Tips For The Best Creamy Peanut Sauce
- Adjust the Heat to Your Liking: The chili garlic sauce adds a spicy kick, but you can easily tailor the spice level. Start with a small amount and taste as you go—add more if you like it fiery, or leave it out altogether for a milder, kid-friendly version.
- Smooth, Lump-Free Sauce: When adding the cornstarch slurry, pour it in slowly while continuously whisking. This prevents clumps and helps create a smooth, velvety texture. Make sure your sauce is simmering gently to activate the thickening process without scorching.
- Storage Tips: Let the sauce cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Reheating Tips: Gently reheat the peanut sauce on the stovetop over low heat or in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between. Add a splash of water or coconut milk to loosen it up if it’s too thick from chilling.
