Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tbso coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp chili garlic paste or sriracha
  • cup canned coconut milk I'm using light coconut milk
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • In a small sauce pan, combine the peanut butter, coconut aminos, honey, hoisin sauce and chili garlic paste. Mix well and bring to a low simmer.
  • Add the coconut milk to the sauce mixture, mix well and bring to a low simmer again.
  • Mix together the cornstarch and water to form a slurry. This will help thicken the sauce.
  • Once the sauce has started to simmer, add in the cornstarch slurry mixing consistently until the sauce has thickened. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the chili garlic sauce to your preferred spice level, or swap it for sriracha if that's what you have on hand.
  • When adding the cornstarch slurry, stir continuously to ensure a smooth, lump-free sauce.
