- 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbso coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1-2 tbsp chili garlic paste or sriracha
- ⅔ cup canned coconut milk I'm using light coconut milk
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp water
In a small sauce pan, combine the peanut butter, coconut aminos, honey, hoisin sauce and chili garlic paste. Mix well and bring to a low simmer.
Add the coconut milk to the sauce mixture, mix well and bring to a low simmer again.
Mix together the cornstarch and water to form a slurry. This will help thicken the sauce.
Once the sauce has started to simmer, add in the cornstarch slurry mixing consistently until the sauce has thickened. Enjoy!
- Adjust the chili garlic sauce to your preferred spice level, or swap it for sriracha if that's what you have on hand.
- When adding the cornstarch slurry, stir continuously to ensure a smooth, lump-free sauce.
